SEED INVESTMENT FUND

The National Union of Business Angels is hereby stating its willingness to establish the fund for seed investing at RUSSBA, in the amount of 1 billion rubles, with the legal status based on the terms of special partnership. Russian and foreign investors are invited to participate in the fund with contributions of minimum 100 million rubles.

The undeniable competitive advantages of the fund to be established at RUSSBA include:

Deficit of financial resources for seed-stage investing currently present in Russia (see: A.Kashirin, A.Semyonov. The Problem of the Current Stage in Innovative Development in Russia: Deficit of Seed-Stage Financing, in: «Innovations» Journal, No.9 (107), 2007).
Availability of innovative projects inflowing to RUSSBA, as well as well-tested technology for selection and preparation of early-stage projects to make them look attractive for investors.

Investment policy, project screening criteria, deal flow arrangement, management structure, management team and other aspects of the fund’s activity are described in more detail in the Investment Memorandum.

The Investment Memorandum may be presented to investors provided it is kept confidential. Fund initiators do not exclude participation of governmental financial institutions as investors in the fund.
